Dental treatment in Türkiye
Implants, veneers and full-mouth restoration with clinics we have vetted ourselves — and a coordinator who makes sure you understand exactly what is being done to your teeth before anyone starts.
- Implants & All-on-4 / All-on-6
- Porcelain & zirconium veneers
- Usually 5–7 nights per visit
- Written treatment plan first
Good dentistry abroad is about the plan, not the price
The dental treatment that goes wrong abroad almost always went wrong at the planning stage — healthy teeth ground down for veneers that were never needed, or implants placed without enough bone to hold them.
So we insist on the boring part. Before you commit, you get a written treatment plan: which teeth are being treated, what is being done to each of them, why, what the alternatives are, and what it costs. If a clinic proposes taking down healthy teeth and a more conservative option exists, we want you to hear about it.
Send us a recent panoramic X-ray (an OPG) if you have one, or clear photos of your teeth, and a partner dentist will assess your case within 24 hours.
Typical trip at a glance
- Veneers / crowns: around 5–7 nights, one visit
- Implants: two visits, usually 3–6 months apart
- First implant visit: around 5–7 nights
- Second implant visit: around 5–7 nights
- Anaesthetic: local; sedation available
- Back to normal eating: gradual over 1–2 weeks
These are typical ranges only. Your surgeon decides what is right for you, and we confirm your exact plan in writing before you travel.
What our partner clinics offer
Dental implants
A titanium post replaces the root of a missing tooth, topped with a crown once it has integrated. The closest thing to a permanent replacement.
- Single or multiple teeth
- Bone graft & sinus lift where needed
- Two visits, months apart
All-on-4 & All-on-6
A full arch of fixed teeth supported on four or six implants — for patients missing most or all of their teeth in a jaw.
- Fixed, not removable
- Temporary bridge fitted early
- Full upper, lower or both
Porcelain & zirconium veneers
Thin shells bonded to the front of the teeth to change shape, colour and alignment. Zirconium is harder wearing; porcelain (e-max) is more translucent.
- Shade & shape chosen with you
- Digital smile preview
- Minimal prep options discussed
Crowns & bridges
Restoring heavily damaged or root-treated teeth, or bridging a gap using the neighbouring teeth for support.
- Zirconium & e-max options
- Colour matched to your teeth
- Bite checked before final fit
Root canal & general dentistry
Fillings, root canal treatment, extractions and hygiene work — often needed before cosmetic work can begin.
- Done before cosmetic stages
- Digital X-rays on site
- Included in your written plan
Whitening & hygiene
Professional whitening and a deep clean, either on its own or as the finishing step of a larger plan.
- In-clinic whitening
- Scale & polish
- Home maintenance advice
Is this right for you?
Usually a good fit if…
- You are missing teeth, or have teeth that are failing and need restoring
- You want to change the appearance of your smile and understand what is involved
- Your gums are healthy, or can be made healthy before treatment starts
- You can commit to two trips if implants are part of the plan
- You are willing to maintain the work with proper hygiene afterwards
We’ll tell you to wait, or not to travel, if…
- A clinic has proposed veneers on healthy, well-aligned teeth and cannot explain why orthodontics wouldn’t do the job
- You have active gum disease that has not been treated first
- You want a full mouth of veneers in three days — good work takes longer
- You are a heavy smoker unwilling to stop around implant surgery, which significantly raises failure risk
- You cannot return for the second visit implants require
We would rather lose a booking than send someone abroad for a procedure that isn’t going to give them what they want.
How the trip runs
Day 0 — arrival
Driver meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel.
Day 1 — examination & plan
X-rays, 3D scan where needed, full examination, and your treatment plan confirmed face to face with your assistant translating. Nothing starts until you have agreed it.
Days 2–3 — preparation
Preparation, temporaries fitted, or implant surgery, depending on your plan. Temporaries mean you are never without teeth.
Days 4–6 — fitting & adjustment
Trial fit, shade and bite adjustments, then the final fit. This stage is where the difference between good and mediocre work shows up, so it is not rushed.
Day 7 — fly home
Final check, written aftercare, and your follow-up schedule. Driver takes you to the airport.

Frequently asked questions
Why is dental work so much cheaper in Türkiye?
Lower overheads, lower labour costs and a favourable exchange rate — the same reasons everything else costs less there. The materials used by good clinics (Straumann, Nobel Biocare, e-max, zirconia) are the same globally recognised brands used at home. Ask which brand is being used and get it in writing; we do.
Will my veneers look obviously fake?
They will if you ask for the whitest possible shade on oversized teeth. A good clinic will guide you towards a shade and shape that suit your face and your age. You choose the shade yourself and see a preview before anything is bonded permanently.
Do healthy teeth have to be filed down?
Some reduction is needed for conventional veneers and crowns. How much depends on the material and your starting position, and some cases suit minimal-prep options. If a plan involves heavy reduction of healthy teeth, ask why — and ask what orthodontics would achieve instead. We will ask on your behalf.
Why do implants need two trips?
The implant has to fuse with the bone before it can carry a crown, which usually takes three to six months. Some cases allow immediate loading with a temporary bridge, but the permanent teeth still come later. Any clinic promising permanent implants and final crowns in one week deserves hard questions.
What if a crown comes loose when I’m back home?
You get written details of exactly what was fitted, in what material, so any dentist anywhere can work on it. We help you contact the clinic, and reputable partners stand behind their work — ask us about the specific guarantee before you book.
Can I eat normally afterwards?
Soft foods for the first days, then a gradual return to normal. Your clinic gives you specific instructions depending on what was done. With implants the guidance is stricter and worth following closely.
